2008 Board Members

    These are the available positions for the 2008 season. Please review and decide if you would like to help the club next year. If you decide to volunteer, please fill out your information, and  the position you would like to volunteer for, at the bottom of this page. Please submit this form by February 1, 2008 (this date may be extended once the Banquet date has been confirmed). Individuals will be recognized at the season banquet.

Race Director:

   Director will direct each race event and act as the Executive officer of the club. They will be expected to

give the rider meetings and the award presentations as well as keep track of the season points totals. In addition

to this, they will be expected to be the public leader of the club.

Safety Director:

   Safety will be a general term for a duty selecting (or acting as) a technical inspector. In addition to this, they

will be responsible for corner workers and flagmen for each event.

Financial:

   Financial will consist of heading up registration and collecting the money for each event. In addition to this,

they will be expected to manage the clubs money in the capacity of Treasurer or get someone to do this job.

Administrator:

   Administrator will be the responisbility of managing the clubs membership list, mailing list, and creating

and distributing the monthly newsletters as well as any notices or mailing literature that the director decides

to distribute.

Activities:

   Activities will be the coordination of any OYL event such as races, banquets, or meetings. They will be

responsible for informing the Administrator of each planned event. They will also be responsible for bringing

awards to each event.
